With Mortal Kombat 11 only a few eeks away, NetherRealm continues to reveal characters in the game’s roster, this time taking time to introduce a new face to the list – an Elder God by the name of Cetrion.
Cetrion, being an Elder God, looks to be a force to be reckoned with as she is able to utilize her elemental powers, summoning vines, rocks, fire and other elemental objects to pummel foes with. To top it off, her trailer also showcased her fatality, which seemed to be more in place with Injustice than Mortal Kombat, with the character growing to giagantic sizes and blasting Jade with an giant fire blast from orbit.
Cetrion is the second entirely new playable character announced for MK11 so far along with Garas, who acts as a loyal servant of the final boss Kronika. Garas was one of the first new characters announced, showcasing some elemental powers and the ability to manipulate time.
NetherRealm also confirmed that there will be DLC fighters after the game’s release, with Shao Khan as a pre-order bonus and Shang Tsung, with his appearance based on Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa who played the character in the Mortal Kombat film.
