Back in the day, Capcom and Disney had a real good thing going with games like Darkwing Duck, Magical Quest, Aladdin and Lion King. There was one game that beat blew them all out of the water and that was the classic Nintendo title Ducktales.
This brings us to the big announcement at Pax East today, in the form of a kickass trailer.
One of the best original Nintendo game, and possibly the best adapted game ever is getting a second life on the PSN, XBLA and Wii U thanks to the team at WayForward, who of course was responsible for titles behind Contra 4 and Double Dragon Neon. Ducktales HD is based off of the original 1989 platformer and featured some of the best music on the Nintendo console.
No release date or price has been released for the game, but you can bet we’re really excited for this remake of the classic title.
