Cyanide’s attempt at Call of Cthulhu certainly fits its source material if the newly released E3 trailer is any indication, which dives into some of the story elements, creepy settings and what it’s like to be under the influence of the Great Dreamer.
Taking the role of private investigator Edward Pierce, players are originally tasked with solving the mysterious death of a family, only to have their investigation get deterred by suspicious locals, mutilated whales, and disappearing bodies. Players will have to fight to keep Edward’s sanity as he becomes pulled into a world of conspiracies, cultists and otherworldly terrors.
There is no current release date for the game at this time, but Focus Home Interactive did state that the game will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC
