One of the common things we hear about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is that the game doesn’t look up to standards. This is a reasonable complaint as the game has gone over several delays, however to squash the idea that the game still looks awful – creator Koji Igarashi released a new comparison trailer showcasing just how much the game has changed since the start of the Kickstarter project.
The trailer (above) also gives a proper release date for the game, showing that it will be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on June 18th, and will come a week later on June 25th for Nintendo Switch. The trailer shows a lot of the graphical complaints that backers had, while delivering the new and improved look.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was a Kickstarter backed project which promised a game in the style of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, which Koji Igarashi is best known for. The project reached its funding almost four years ago and has been in development for some time, even switching targeted platforms after the Wii U and PSVita stopped being supported.
