What at first started as a popular rumour has now been officially confirmed by Bethesda: A graphically enhanced version of Skyrim will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28.
This new version of the wildly successful RPG, titled as Skyrim Special Edition, will feature updated art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, and other various visual improvements. Console versions of this new edition will also have mod support, which the previous console releases lacked.
PC gamers may even have a chance at getting the remastered version for free; as anyone who owns the original Skyrim and all of its add-ons, or bought the Legendary edition, on Steam will have access to a free upgrade to Skyrim Special Edition on the day of its official release.
