Fans of Assassin’s Creed Origins’ protagonist Bayek will be happy to know that he will be joining Alexios/Kassandra in their adventure as a new Legendary Lieutenant in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and only have to shell out 40 Ubisoft Club Reward units to unlock him.
While this might not be anything extremely special like additional missions or having the players meet the legendary Assassin in canon, it does help players stats when it comes to naval exploration and combat. Lieutenants add additional perks to player’s ship, the Adrestia, and increases the amount of damage they can do based on the rarity – with Legendary being the highest available.
Lieutenants also help outside of naval battles thanks to the “Call to Arms” skill. Using the skill allows the main character to summon one of their Lieutenants while on land to distract enemies, or kill them if the skill level is high enough.
Bayek isn’t the only character from previous Assassin’s Creed games to jump in as a Lieutenant, as Assassin’s Creed Syndicates’ Evie is also available as a Ubisoft Club Reward. Evie is also a Legendary Lieutenant and boosts javelin damage by 9%, fire javelin by 15%, and all damage by 18% when the Adrestia is in low health.
