The Last movie in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy will not be coming to TT Game’s Lego The Hobbit game. Warner Bros. confirmed the cancellation to GameSpot stating:
“The Lego: The Hobbit video game gives Lego and Middle-earth fans a fun, new way to experience the legendary adventures of Bilbo and company as told in the first two films of Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy. The game provides an excellent set-up for the concluding chapter of Peter Jackson’s film, The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. There are no plans to develop DLC based on the final film of the trilogy.”
Released late 2013 around the release of the second Hobbit movie, The Desolation of Smaug. The game follows both An Unexpected Journey and Desolation, prior to this cancellation, reports came out late last year stating that the last movie, previously named There and Back Again, would be set as DLC for the game.
