As I said during the podcast this week, I was very jealous of the European Collectors Edition of Batman Arkham Origins (Above). Featuring a bad ass statue of Batman and the Joker, a dossier on Black Mask and the assassins you can encounter in the game, along with various DLC. However it seems that North America is getting a bigger, even more bad ass version of the Collectors Edition for a little more money.
The Batman Arkham Origins Collectors Edition was announced today is set for a $119.99 price tag and comes with a new 9-inch statue of the Joker, an 80-page hardcover artbook, two replicas of “evidence taken directly from the Gotham City Police Department crime lab,” a Batman wanted poster, a prototype schematic of the Batwing, an Anarky logo stencil, a photo of the Wayne family and a glow in the dark map of Gotham City. The edition also includes the Assassin’s Intel Dossier, which includes files on the game’s eight assassins.
In Game DLC includes 1st Appearance Batman skin, Deathstroke challenge pack, and PS3 owners will gt the Knightfall pack which includes content based off the 1990’s storyline. Finally, a DVD/Blu-Ray of the DC documentary A Nessicarry Evil: Super-Villains of DC in which actor Christopher Lee provides an in-depth look at DC’s most famous villains.
Batman Arkham Origins will launch on October 25th 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC (with the Collectors Edition only announced for the 360 and PS3 currently.) A companion game called Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate will launch on the same day for Vita and 3DS.
