Another delay has hit the Assassin’s Creed film which is set to star Michael Fassbender (X-Men First Class, Inglorious Basterds.) The announcement came from Fox as they set the release schedule for several of their big name movies which includes the X-men Spin-off Gambit staring Channing Tatum, the next instalment of the Planet of the Apes franchise, and the sequel to the Fantastic Four remake.
The adaptation has been pushed to a December 21st 2016 release, just a week after the first Star Wars spin-off movie is expected to hit theatres. Some story details were released previously, stating that the movie will focus around the Spanish Inquisition. Fassbender will play a death row inmate in the present time while taking up the hood asĀ Aguilar de Agarorobo.
