It seems like Connor’s journey in Assassins Creed won’t have as many iterations as Ezio as Ubisoft announced Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. The game shifts perspectives once again as you take control of Edward Kenway, an assassin of the Caribbean which also means he’s a bad ass Pirate as well.
While Ubisoft was stingy on the launch details, they did mention that PS3, 360, PC, and Wii U. However a leaked trailer which was released on to Youtube (which was pulled just as quickly) did state that the game would be released on October 29th and also be available for next-gen consoles, which we can only confirm as the PS4 at the moment.
While we were sure Ubisoft would have went with a Ninja setting judging by the huge amount of Assassin Creed Fanart of a Chinese and Japanese settings, but choosing the equally deadly/bad ass Pirates is a good choice concidering that the ship battles was one of the more fun parts of AC3.
