Originally announced as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass, Ubisoft has announced that the remastered version of Assassin’s Creed 3 will also be released at retail on March 29th, 2019.
Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered will bring the usual Remastered updates, including higher-resolution textures and improvement, 4K resolution and HDR support. It will also bring all of the Post-Launch DLC along with it, including the Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets missions, and the Tyranny of King Washington expansion. To keep the entire American Revolution storyline in one nicely wrapped package, the Remastered version will also include the once PSVita exclusive title, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation in one packaged deal.
Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered and Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation Remastered will be available together on PS4, Xbox One and PC on your favourite digital stores, or at retail. For those who have purchased the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass, the two games will be free of charge.
Another Assassin’s Creed title will also be coming out in March, as Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Rogue would also be getting the remastered treatment. Rogue released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 at the same time as the series black-sheep Assassin’s Creed Unity on PS4 and Xbox One, which was plagued by bugs and glitches. Rogue on the other hand, didn’t seem to suffer much on this issue and delivered a much more interesting story involving an Assassin joining the Templars. Rogue Remastered is set to release on March 20th on PS4 and Xbox One.
