The PS4 and Xbox One will be getting another Free-to-play MMO, this time being the PC Crime shooter APB: Reloaded. The transistion to the consoles is thanks to publisher Deep Silver and developers Reloaded Games and The Workshop Entertainment, who plans to release the game in the second quarter of 2015.
The game will be free to play to all Playstation users while requiring an Xbox Live Gold Subscription in order to play on the Xbox One. For those unfamiliar with the title, APB:Reloaded started as a reboot of All Points Bulletin which was created by Crackdown developers RealTime Worlds. After Realtime Worlds filed for bankruptcy, the servers for the game shut down, but was purchased and relaunched by Reloaded Games. Since it’s rebirth, the free-to-play game has been downloaded over 5 million times according to publisher Deep Silver.
