It seems like Harmonix has been everywhere in the news lately thanks to hints at a possible revival of their Rock Band series, however the revival that is well under way of their classic PS2 series Amplitude has been pushed back to a Summer release.
Originally set to release in March, Harmonix explained the delay via a Kickstarter update that the reason was that this was the first PS4 game, “We’ve put a lot of work into our proprietary engine to support some of the new, awesome content we’re bringing to the reboot. These factors combined have bumped production out a few additional months.”
Amplitude will be launching on the PS3 and PS4 and will feature original music from Freezepop, Anamanguchi and others.
