A couple years ago, when Alan Wake was announced, it was planned to be realesed on the Xbox 360 an on the pc, in 2009 the games publisher microsoft game studio’s desided to drop the game for the pc and make it exclusive to the Xbox 360. So in 2010 the games was released, and the question was brought up to Remedy asking if the game was going to come to the pc and they said “that it was not in the cards at the moment” so more or less it would not come out for the pc.
Today, Remedy officialy annouced that Alan Wake is going to be released on the PC in February. The game will be published by Remedy themselve’s; the way they announced it look’s like Remedy is getting away from Microsoft all together, since the game will not using Game for Windows Live it will fully support Steam platform instead.
Remedy did release a very full list of FAQs yesterday that including the minimum system requirements, a list of graphical options and many other topics. Remedy will release more information on the title in the coming weeks.
