Akiba’s Beat, the successor to the Akiba Trip series, get’s a new trailer

Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed, was possibly one of the weirdest games I had ever come across, an action RPG where you fought vampires by stripping them, was actually a great idea for a game. So when a spiritual successor was announced, I was instantly intrigued.

So first thing, Akiba’s Beat is a completely different game from the previous entries to the series. While still set in a true-to-life recreation of Tokyo’s Akihabara ward (“Akiba” for short), players will take a party to fight a world that is losing sync with reality. Rather then fighting Synthisters, you’re taking on monsters called “deluseons” in a dungeon like “Delusionscapes” based on the people wandering in Akiba.

The trailer shows off some fast pace action, along with a look at some of your party members for the upcoming Action RPG. Akiba’s Beat will be coming to North America thanks to XSEED in Q1 2017.
