Publisher Versus Evil has announced a follow up to Namco Bandai’s 2009 anime hack and slash game, Afro Samurai. The sequel is being developed by Redacted Studios who was founded ex-Namco Bandai senior producer David Robinson, who previously worked on the first game.
The game has been announced for ‘Next-Gen’ Consoles and PC. Versus Evil mentioned that the game will include a new storyline, new characters and an improvement to the game’s famed dismemberment mechanics. Sadly no information on if Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role of Afro or Ninja Ninja, also if Ron Perlman would reprise his role of Justice which was teased in the Afro Samurai: Resurrection film.
