Cartoon Network and indie developer Little Orbit have decided to bring the Adventures of Jake the Dog and Finn the Human to 3D with the newly announced Adventure Time: Jake and Finn Investigations.
“This new game is a complete departure from previous Adventure Time games,” said Little Orbit CEO Matt Scott. “We have created an intriguing classic adventure game set in a richly-detailed 3D Land of Ooo where players can check out Land of Ooo locales, talk to characters, sharpen their creative puzzle-solving skills, defeat bad guys, and just have fun.”
The new Adventure Time game will focus on Jake and Finn solving mysteries around the Land of Ooo with the promises of action and “mind-bending” puzzles which should be “as if [you] have stepped into [your] own personal episode of Adventure Time.”
Previous Adventure Time games were created by Wayforward and focused on a 2D top down view inspired by Legend of Zelda.
