Bandai Namco announced via the latest edition of Famitsu that the Ace Combat Series will make it’s way to the Nintendo 3DS. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus will be an updated version of previous released 2011 3DS title Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy which was developed by Access Games (Drakengard 3, Deadly Premonition.)
Legacy Plus will feature improved controls, support for the improved 3D functionality of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS models and new planes modelled after famous Nintendo icons. The game is set for a Japanese release January 29, 2015 and is priced at $42 or 4,740 yen.
While there is no word on a Western release as of yet, however due to the strong sales of the series and judging by pass releases of the game, we should be seeing the game shortly after the Japanese release.
