Three of the best Resident Evil titles are coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019 according to Capcom in a Tweet released Friday. Confirming that Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 will be available on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
Sadly, we were only given “more info soon” in terms of what version and when we’ll be seeing the classic Survival Horror titles coming to the Switch, but we can speculate that these will likely be the HD Remasters which has been re-released multiple times over.
The last game in the franchise to be released, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, was well received commercially and critically by retaining the survival horror roots of the original series with a new first person perspective. A remake of Resident Evil 2, which is still widely considered one of the best survival horror games created, is currently in the work for Xbox One, PS4 and PC with a release date of January 25th 2019.
