The upcoming Warcraft movie from Legendary Pictures based on the highly popular RTS and MMO series of the same name has finished filming and director Duncan Jones is hard at work in post-production and various promotional projects for the film. A few days ago, he took to Twitter to answer a few questions about the movie, with one of the big questions being just how much of the movie will be CGI?
The short answer? A lot of it! “I would say that we fit somewhere between Planet of the Apes, Fellowship of the Ring and Avatar,” stated Jones on his twitter (@manmademoon). This certainly gives us a really good example of what to expect for the upcoming flick, with all three movies setting a high bar for CGI and Green-screen work.
Warcraft is currently set for March 2016 release after being pushed back due to conflicts with Disney releasing Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is set to release on Warcraft’s previous launch date of December 16, 2015.
