In similar fashion to Injustice: Gods Among Us, the upcoming Mortal Kombat X is rumoured to have more DLC on its way after the Kombat Pack. The second season of content is looking to add 4 more fighters, each of which will be based off of popular franchises outside of the MK universe.
The rumour has it that Spawn, from the long standing Comic book series by Todd McFarlane, will be joining the ranks in season 2, joining him will be Playstation’s murderous clown Sweet-Tooth, the return of MK9 bonus character Freddy Krueger (so we can finally find out who wins in the fight between Freddy and Jason) and finally Rainbow Dash of My Little Pony fame, who will play like a speed character and use her Sonic Rainboom as a Fatality.
Mortal Kombat X is currently set for an April 14th release date, NeitherRealm has yet to respond to the rumour of the season 2 content, however we get the feeling that we’ll find out later today.
